Curator of Contemporary Art, Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia
Leigh Robb’s career has moved easily between the commercial and museum sectors and between Australian and international contemporary art. Before becoming the inaugural holder of her post at the Art Gallery of South Australia, Robb was the curator at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA), where she curated more than 25 major exhibitions including solo shows by Tracey Moffatt and John Gerrard. Her roles prior to that include associate director at Thomas Dane Gallery in London, and leading the internship and education programmes at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
