Russian Art Week Sales at Sotheby’s

Sotheby’s are gearing up for their Russian Art Week sales (2–3 June). Examples of Soviet Russian painting, delicate porcelain and Imperial Fabergé will be up for grabs at their evening and day sales, including one of the last significant works by Kazimir Malevich in private possession.

Highlights include 22 works from the International Confederation of Artist’s Union, the unforgettable Fabergé gem-set silver casket portraying the head of a warrior, and 200 figurines from a private collection of Soviet porcelain which expose the depth of Russian cultural history – in miniature.
