Gallery: ‘Revolution of the Eye’ at the Jewish Museum, New York

‘Revolution of the Eye’ considers how modern art and graphic design influenced the look and content of early US television. The show features over 260 pieces – from ephemera to TV clips – and includes work by Saul Bass, Duchamp and O’Keeffe.

‘Revolution of the Eye: Modern Art and the Birth of American Television’ is at the Jewish Museum, New York, from 1 May–20 September.

The exhibition is organised with the Center for Art, Design, and Visual Culture, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), Maryland.
