This week’s competition prize is Edward Bawden Scrapbooks by Peyton Skipwith and Brian Webb, published by Lund Humphries in association with the Fry Art Gallery (£35). Click here for your chance to win.
Artist, illustrator and designer Edward Bawden’s scrapbooks, assembled over a period of more than 55 years, contain a fascinating collection of ephemera: everything from stamps, photographs, cigarette cards, Christmas cards and letters to newspaper cuttings, drawings and linocuts. This book reveals this wonderful and at times eccentric collection and provides a new insight into one of the most popular artists of 20th-century Britain.
For your chance to win simply answer the following question and submit your details here before midday on 1 July.
What was the name of the mural Edward Bawden created for the Festival of Britain in 1951?
This competition closes at midday on 1 July.
