This week’s competition prize is Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino: Diverging Paths of Mannerism, by Carlo Falciani and Antonio Natali (Mandragora, €50)
Palazzo Strozzi will present a major exhibition entitled ‘Pontormo and Rosso. Diverging Paths of Mannerism’, devoted to the work of the two painters who were without question the most original and unconventional adepts of the new way of interpreting art in the Italian Cinquecento which Giorgio Vasari called the ‘modern manner’. Curated by Antonio Natali, director of the Uffizi Gallery, and Carlo Falciani, a lecturer in art history, the exhibition will showcase new philological, historical and iconological research into the work of the two artists. This accompanying catalogue includes essays by Claudia Conforti, Philippe Costamagna, Elizabeth Cropper, Carlo Falciani and many more.
For your chance to win simply answer the following question and submit your details below before midday on 28 March 2014
