Hong Kong
Young collectors in Hong Kong are driving forward the city’s art scene. A leading example of collector-led innovation is Duddell’s, the restaurant-cum-gallery co-founded by Alan Lo, which has hosted exhibitions curated by Danh Vo¯ and Gregor Muir among others. Lo is widely involved in the Hong Kong art world, as chair of the non-profit organisation Design Trust, a member of Art Basel’s Global Patrons Council, and a board member of Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Para Site. His own collection includes works by local artists such as Lee Kit and international figures including Sterling Ruby.
