Co-owner and director, AIKE gallery, Shanghai
Adrian Wang became co-owner and director of AIKE gallery in Shanghai in 2017. Since then, the gallery has continued to cement its reputation as one of the most innovative commercial galleries in the West Bund, with a particular focus on gestural paintings, pitched between figuration and abstraction, by contemporary Chinese artists; recent exhibitions overseen by Wang include solo shows for Fang Wei and Tang Dixin. The gallery is a regular at West Bund Art & Design, Photofairs Shanghai, Beijing Contemporary Art Expo and Art Basel Hong Kong. Wang previously worked at White Cube gallery in Hong Kong.
