This beautifully detailed catalogue raisonné presents the exceptional etchings, wood engravings and woodcuts of Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe RA, one of the best-known wildlife illustrators of the 20th century.
Tunnicliffe is celebrated for his captivating depictions of the natural world, particularly British birds and fauna. He won acclaim as the illustrator of the 1932 edition of Tarka the Otter. His other work includes numerous Brooke Bond tea cards and original artwork for Ladybird Books – including familiar titles like The Farm and the What to Look For series about wildlife through the seasons.
